Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about how RamPortal.Net tracks the roster.
Where do you get your news? Do you break news on portal entries?
No. We add player movements based only on reports directly from the student-athlete or verified media members. We do not make changes based on rumors, unverified moves, or message board speculation. We don't break news; we simply update our tracker based on public reports.
How often is the tracker updated?
Updates are pushed as quickly as possible. Feel free to tag me on X @Abner_Rams or drop a note in our Discord with new updates. We prioritize keeping the current roster and commits updated over tracking players who have transferred. We are working on further tools to improve the speed of updates. Stay tuned.
I noticed a mistake on a player's timeline. How do I report it?
With hundreds of moving parts, occasional typos happen! If you spot an incorrect jersey number, a missing prior school, or a wrong transfer destination, please join our community Discord and drop a note in the corrections channel so we can fix it.
Can you track offers and official visits?
We currently only track official roster movements (commits, transfers, decommits, etc.) based on public reports. We don't have a reliable way to track offers or official visits at this time, but RamPortal.Net has this functionality prebuilt for the future as we expand our coverage and data sources.
Why do some players get a 'Returning' note in their timeline, while others don't?
We love to celebrate athletes who stay loyal to CSU. When an athlete announces on their socials they are returning to Colorado State for another season, we add a 'Returning' event to their timeline to give them the recognition they deserve. If you see a player who has announced their return but doesn't have this note, please let us know in the Discord so we can update their profile!
Will you be adding other sports?
Currently, RamPortal.Net supports Colorado State Football and Men's Basketball. Women's Basketball planned for the future.
